If you hear a divine call in your heart for religious life, do not be afraid to explore it. It is Love knocking at the door of your heart. It might not be for you to become a religious sister but for sure it is an invitation to grow in intimacy with Him.

It is as if we are saying to Him, “I renounce and reject what I know about love which, to be honest, was selfish and unhealthy, and I trust You to teach me Love according to Your own Heart.”

Only the One who created love can love us and teach us the secrets of love, which we need for whatever vocation He is calling us to.

Religious life is a life of love guided by Love Himself. It is an exchange of hearts, “I give You my heart for Your heart.”; an exchange of will, “I give You my will for Your Will.”; an exchange of our whole self, “I give You all of me, for all of You now and forever.”

Who is He?": He is Love, Peace, Joy, Patience, Mercy, Wisdom… That is the “all of Him” that we will be receiving from Him.
