Love letters to my King
Loving Him is responding back to His incomprehensible love for us.
Poem 1: The Holy Tabernacle
There’s a Man living in that palace
There’s a heart beating in there
Humility incarnated lives there
Yes, there’s a Man living in that palace
He loves like love Himself
He listens to you and me as if that were His only occupation
And sees like light Himself
There is a man living in that palace
He dries the tears of our souls and restores our hearts
There is a Man living in that palace
He heals like remedy and talks like a breeze
There’s a Man living in that palace
He feels like peace and looks like freedom
There’s a Man living in that palace but we can only see Him through perseverance
Yes there is a Man living in that palace and His name is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God and I am honored to be His servant.
Poem 2: I have a Master
I have a Master
He is gentle and merciful
He uses my own vocabulary and accent to talk to me because He wants me to know that Him and I are one
I have a Master
He instructs me and orders the desires of my heart
I have a Master
He talks to me with respect and love and corrects me like a father
I have a Master
He trusts my littleness and my desire to serve Him even if I don’t have what it takes
I have a Master
He forms my intellect and heals me
I have a Master
Who is never tired of teaching me what I need to know, who is never impatient, who never hesitates to step in when I fall short, who corrects my innocent wrong doing
I have a Master
He calls me His best friend, His protégée
I have a Master so I don’t have to know everything but to just listen to Him
I have a Master,
He knows all my imperfections but still calls me His for eternity
I have a Master, His heart is my home
I have a Master
My heart belongs to Him
I have a Master, and His name is El Shaddai, Jesus Christ the Son of The Living God.
I am His and He is mine forever”
Poem 3: love speaking to Love.
Oh, dear guardian angel, you who see Him face to face,
Please tell Him, the One who has created for Himself a human heart to love me,
that I am crazy about Him.
Oh, Good Savior, I am completely absorbed in You
Oh, good King, may I see You everywhere
May I see You in all your creatures, even those who hurt me.
And may I always be in awe and bow down before Your mighty power working in our humanity
Poem 4: My Heart
Heart of mine…
Heart who beats for me, who am I for You to call me Yours?
I was the one my kin left out of the house in the cold without a blanket,
I was the one they said, “She must be cursed.”
I was the one who didn’t know who she was until I met You
You are patient and gentle,
You told me “Daughter, you are my heartbeat.”
Oh, Heart who beats for me, how can I serve You? How can I worship You?
My guardian angel, please take me to Heaven so I will see Him face to face
Take me to my Father’s house so I will rest in His arms
Take me to Heaven so I will pay homage to my King
Take me to heaven so I will see Love Himself
Oh living Heart of my Savior, You are mine and I am yours forever.
